How can I make my curly hair..?

less curly! My hair is not too curly..I would describe it as curly/wavy..How can I make it less curly and more wavy WITHOUT using a straightner or chemicals..Is there something I can do after washing my hair? Like tie it in a bun or something? Right now my hair is a little below my shoulder..any advice would be greattt! Thanks!

Really, straightening is the best way to go, it's easy if you only want it wavy, cuz it won't take as long.

It really depends on how curly your hair is. Sometimes, when my hair is still wet, I put it in a bun (if your hair is short, two tight buns). When it's dry, you can unravel it and it will given you some great beach/bohemian waves.

Pantene makes a shampoo for straight hair. You may want to try that and see if it helps your hair straighten out a little bit.

A while back, I saw some hair strips at Drug Emporium. The idea is to put your hair in the strip while its wet so it will keep it flat and taut.

My hair sounds just like yours. When I feel like having straight hair I usually do two things.

1) When wet use a light amount of hair serum. I use Bed Head Control Freak Serum. Don't use a blob because then your hair will turn out greasy. Use about a nickel sized blob and put it evenly in your hair.

2) Blow dry it straight after using light hair product. I would suggest using a comb while drying it to help straighten while drying.

That will take out most of the curl while still leaving volume in your hair. But I would experiment with your hair and see what works best for you.

Wash your hair as normal then towel dry, leaving it slightly damp. Lightly spray your hair with sea-salt spray and comb through hair. Divide your hair into four sections by first halving the hair in the middle, then again on each half. Plait each of the four sections. It doesn't have to be be perfect. Slightly messy plaits will make the waves look more natural. Wait until your hair is completely dry the undo the plates and gently separate the waves. Spray lightly with a serum and lightly tousle. For loose waves do the plaits loose; for tight waves do the plaits tight.
