I have very curly hair how can i do a nice hairstyle??

My hair is very curly,but when it's wet it looks flat,curly and nice. When it drys it just gets realy puffy no matter what i put in it!!!! What should i do?? I need a nice hair style. if u dont no any hairstyles whats the best way 2 get it straight? If i straighten it when i wash mi hair, i want da curls 2 come back! Thanks!! :)

you need a chi blow dryer and flat iron. they aren't cheap by any means, but in my opinion, the best on the general market today.

also try using ethnic products. i like mizani products. you need moisture not protein

apply product to your hair when damp not wet

do not rub your hair together ever

always towel dry before conditioner (you'll use less too)

YOU SHOULD GET THE STRAIGHTENERS THAT HAVE A PICTURE OF HOW YOUR HAIRLOOKS RIGHT NOW THEN IT SHOWS HOW IT WILL LOOK WHEN YOU STAIGHTEN IT!!!!!!!!! THEY WORK REALLY GOOD! THEN, WHEN YOU ARE DONE STRAIGHTINING IT DO A REGULAR PONY TAIL THEN PUT A LOT OF SPRAY THEN IT WILL STAY LIKE THAT!!!

You sound like me... Try using a combination of leave-in conditioner, no-frizz gel AND mousse (flexible hold for g%26amp;m) when your hair is wet. Once it dries, try a smoothing cream like Herbal Essence cream. Forget about straightening your hair - it will never stay that way with humidity. But if you feel it necessary, I've always found that a blowdry and fat curling iron (about 2 inches thick) will do the trick - just try to wait until your hair has dried somewhat beforehand or it will get totally nuts on you. Curly hair usually does best when it is a bit longer - try a faceframe or even layers to get the body AND tamer volume you're looking for. Let your hair loose, girl - I guarantee there are tons of people that are envious of your crazy locks - no matter how wild you think it looks! Hope this helps! - a fellow "curly girl"

Okay. i have a friend she is not black. but she has thick long tight curly hair. now blow drying it is the most hugest problem. what you do is you buy curly hair shampoo,moose,gel,and hair spray. you blow dry your hair up side down leaving it a bit damp an not too dry. then you put your moose, and gel. and you hair spary your hair like crazy.

this friend of mine used to be exactly like you. until she realized blow drying her hair makes it frizzy. a big thing also is hair spray.

first of all, its bad to straighten hair that's really really curly, it ruins it and its bad for your hair

instead of changing it, work with it

when its wet, put gel in it

then after an hour use hairspray

or if its dry just use a lot of hairspray and it will look wet all day, and it doesnt take that long or ruin your hair
